The Zinga BE1018 spin-on filter element, part number BE1018, uses 10 micron grade cellulose media with an internal 18 psid bypass. It threads onto Zinga BF Series filter heads on a 3/4-16 UN thread. Pair it with the BF030 filter head.
Rated efficiency is 8 micron at Beta 2, or 50%, and 23 micron at Beta 75, or 98.7%. Put simply, the media stops half the particles at 8 micron and nearly all of them at 23 micron.
The can is 3.1 in in diameter and 3.4 in tall, white with a red imprint. It is rated to 200 psi operating pressure with a 50 psid maximum differential and temperatures up to 250°F.
The internal bypass opens at 18 psid so fluid keeps moving as the element loads with contaminant. Fluid that passes an open bypass skips the media, so change the element before it reaches that point. For the same media without a bypass, see the BE100; for a 25 micron grade, see the BE2510.
Use it with petroleum based fluids. Do not use BE Series elements on internal combustion engines.
