The Zinga SS10000M1A hydraulic suction strainer, part number SS10000M1A, mounts inside the reservoir on the pump suction line to catch debris before it reaches the pump. It has a 1 in NPTF outlet and is rated for 14 gpm at 5 ft/sec.
Magnetic filtration adds capture of fine ferrous particles. Steel and iron fines can be small enough to slip through mesh; the magnet holds them in the reservoir so they do not travel to the pump.
A 100 mesh wire cloth element sits on a cast aluminum cover. The end caps use reverse taper wall construction, which locks mechanically with the epoxy adhesive to prevent bond failure, a benefit in rough-terrain vehicle applications. Pressure drop is under 1/2 psi at rated flow with 150 SUS oil, which keeps restriction low on the suction side.
The wrench flat is 1.75 in and outside diameter is 3.2 in. Operating temperature is up to 250°F.
The SS Series covers outlet ports from 1 to 3 in NPTF. This model has no bypass valve; 3 psi and 5 psi bypass valves are series options. For the same size without magnetic filtration, see the SS10000.
