Pressure Transmitter – 1/8” NPT – 3600 PSI – 4 to 20mA – XMT1-3.6K-2MP

The Hyvair XMT1-3.6K-2MP is an X Series pressure transmitter rated for a 3,600 psi pressure range. It converts the pressure it sees into a 4 to 20 mA current output for controllers, PLCs and monitoring equipment. Part number XMT1-3.6K-2MP is the 1/8 in NPT thread version of the 3,600 psi model.

The connection is a 1/8-27 NPT process thread. As a tapered pipe thread, NPT seals on the thread flanks as it is tightened into a 1/8-27 NPT female port. The small thread size fits where port space on a block or line is limited.

Supply the transmitter with 8 to 30 V. The 4 to 20 mA signal rises with pressure across the 3,600 psi range, so 4 mA corresponds to the bottom of the range and 20 mA to full scale. A current loop signal is read the same way at the far end of the cable as it is at the sensor, which keeps wiring simple on larger machines.

The listed response time is under 1 ms. That lets the output track pressure changes quickly enough for closed loop control as well as for monitoring.
