The Hyvair PS20-2K is a PS20 Series pressure switch with a pressure range of 200 to 2,000 psi. A pressure switch opens or closes an electrical contact when pressure in the circuit reaches its set point, so a relay, controller or alarm can act on that pressure. This is part number PS20-2K.
The 200 to 2,000 psi range is the span within which the switch point is set. It covers circuits whose working or warning pressure sits between those two values.
The pressure connection is a 1/4 in female NPT port. The switch threads onto a 1/4 in male NPT nipple, adapter or fitting at the point you want to monitor. NPT is a tapered pipe thread that seals on the taper as it is tightened.
Maximum fluid viscosity is listed at 450 SSU (1000 mm²/s). Check the viscosity of your system fluid at its lowest operating temperature against that limit, since oil thickens as it cools.
Order the PS20-2K when the set point you need is between 200 and 2,000 psi and the port is 1/4 in female NPT.
