The Hyvair PS20-3.6K-K is a pressure switch from the PS20 Series with a K knob and an adjustable range of 500 to 3,600 psi. It opens or closes an electrical contact when pressure in the circuit reaches the set point, so a controller, relay or alarm can act on that pressure. This is part number PS20-3.6K-K.
The K knob sets the switch point. You turn it to choose where in the 500 to 3,600 psi range the switch trips, and you can reset it by hand when the working pressure of the machine changes.
The switch connects through a 1/4 in female NPT port. It threads onto a 1/4 in male NPT nipple, adapter or fitting at the point in the circuit you want to monitor. NPT is a tapered pipe thread that seals on the taper as it is tightened.
Rated fluids are hydraulic, lubricating and light oils. Maximum viscosity is 450 SSU (1000 mm²/s), so confirm that the oil in your system stays below that limit at its coldest operating temperature.
