The Hyvair XMT1-5.8K-4MP is a pressure transmitter in the X Series, rated for a 5,800 psi pressure range with a 4 to 20 mA output. It reads the pressure at its 1/4-18 NPT port and sends a matching current signal to your control system.
The 1/4-18 NPT connection is a tapered pipe thread. It seals as it is drawn into a 1/4-18 NPT female port, and it is a common thread size for gauge and sensor ports on hydraulic manifolds and fittings.
Supply voltage is 8 to 30 V. The 4 to 20 mA output starts at 4 mA at the low end of the range and rises toward 20 mA as pressure nears 5,800 psi. Any analog input configured for 4 to 20 mA, from a PLC card to a panel meter, can read the signal and display it as pressure.
The listed response time is under 1 ms, fast enough for the signal to keep up with pressure changes in an active circuit.
