The Hyvair XMT1-5.8K-2MP is an X Series pressure transmitter with a 5,800 psi pressure range. It turns hydraulic pressure into a 4 to 20 mA current signal that control and monitoring equipment can read. Part number XMT1-5.8K-2MP is the 1/8-27 NPT thread version of the 5,800 psi model.
The 1/8-27 NPT process connection is a tapered pipe thread. It seals on the taper when tightened into a female port of the same size, and its small size lets it fit on compact blocks and test points.
The transmitter accepts an 8 to 30 V supply. Its output rises from 4 mA at the bottom of the range toward 20 mA at 5,800 psi. Because the reading is carried as a current, it can be wired into a PLC analog input, a display or a data logger without scaling for cable length.
