The Hyvair XMT1-1K-2MP is an X Series pressure transmitter with a 1,000 psi range and a 4 to 20 mA output. A pressure transmitter measures pressure at the port and sends a continuous electrical signal to a controller, display or data logger, so the system can read pressure instead of relying on a gauge.
With a 4 to 20 mA output, the current in the loop rises across that span as pressure rises across the 1,000 psi range. Because the signal starts at 4 mA rather than zero, a controller can tell a broken wire or lost supply from a true zero reading.
The transmitter runs on a supply of 8 to 30 V. Response time is under 1 ms, fast enough to capture quick pressure changes in a hydraulic circuit.
The process connection is a 1/8-27 NPT thread. NPT threads seal on the taper, so use a thread sealant compatible with your hydraulic fluid.
Choose a transmitter whose range covers your highest working pressure. If the circuit can see pressure spikes above 1,000 psi, select a higher range model.
