The Hyvair XMT1-2K-4MP is a pressure transmitter in the X Series with a 2,000 psi pressure range. It senses the pressure at its port and sends a proportional 4 to 20 mA current signal to the control system. This is the 1/4 in thread version, part number XMT1-2K-4MP.
It threads into a 1/4-18 NPT port. NPT is a tapered pipe thread that seals as the male and female threads wedge together, and the 1/4-18 size is a common port size on hydraulic manifolds, blocks and fittings. Confirm the port size on your equipment before installation.
The supply voltage range is 8 to 30 V, which covers the common 12 V and 24 V control supplies. Output starts at 4 mA at the low end of the range and rises toward 20 mA as pressure approaches 2,000 psi. A PLC analog input, a panel meter or a monitoring module set for 4 to 20 mA can read it directly.
Response time is listed at under 1 ms, so the signal keeps up with fast pressure changes in the circuit.
