The Hyvair XMT1-1K-4MP is an X Series pressure transmitter with a 1,000 psi range and a 4 to 20 mA output. A pressure transmitter measures pressure at the port and sends a continuous electrical signal to a controller, display or data logger, so the system can read and act on pressure directly.
With a 4 to 20 mA output, loop current rises across that span as pressure rises across the 1,000 psi range. Because the signal starts at 4 mA, a controller can tell a broken wire or lost supply from a true zero reading.
The transmitter runs on an 8 to 30 V supply. Response time is under 1 ms, so the signal follows fast pressure changes in the circuit.
The connection is a 1/4-18 NPT thread. NPT threads seal on the taper, so apply a thread sealant compatible with your hydraulic fluid when you install it.
Pick a range that covers your highest working pressure, including any spikes. If the circuit can exceed 1,000 psi, choose a higher range model.
