The Hyvair XDR1-2K-2MP is an X Series pressure transducer with a 2,000 psi pressure range and a 1/8 in-27 NPT thread. It converts system pressure into a 0.5 to 4.5 V output signal.
A pressure transducer measures pressure at the port and turns it into an electrical signal that a controller, display or data logger can read. The output on this model spans 0.5 to 4.5 V across its pressure range, so the signal changes as pressure rises and falls. Choose a range that covers your normal operating pressure with some margin above it.
The transducer requires a supply voltage of 5 V, plus or minus 0.5 V. Supply current is under 5 mA, and response time is under 1 ms. That response time lets the signal follow fast pressure changes in the circuit.
The 1/8 in-27 NPT thread is a tapered pipe thread. Install the transducer in a matching 1/8 in NPT port on a manifold, test point or line fitting, and use an appropriate thread sealant.
When wiring the unit, confirm that the input on your controller accepts a 0.5 to 4.5 V signal and that the controller can supply the 5 V excitation the transducer needs.
