The Hyvair XDR2-3.6K-2MP is an X Series pressure transducer with a 3,600 psi range and a 1 to 5 V output. Its 1/8-27 NPT male connection fits compact ports on manifolds, valve blocks and test points, and the voltage signal goes straight to a PLC, controller or display.
Output scales from 1 V at the bottom of the range toward 5 V at full scale. The 1 V starting point acts as a live zero, so a 0 V reading signals a wiring or power fault rather than zero pressure. Response time is under 1 ms, quick enough to capture pressure spikes and fast transitions.
The unit runs on any supply from 8 to 30 V and draws less than 5 mA. That lets it share the 12 V or 24 V supply that already powers most machine controls.
A 3,600 psi range covers a wide band of working pressures and leaves headroom above normal operating pressure. Choose this range when typical pressure sits well below 3,600 psi. Seal the 1/8-27 NPT thread with a sealant suited to hydraulic service, and install the transducer in a port rated for full system pressure.
