The Hyvair XDR2-2K-2MP is a pressure transducer with a 2,000 psi range, a 1 to 5 V output and a 1/8 in NPT connection. A pressure transducer reads the pressure in a hydraulic line and turns it into an electrical signal that a controller, PLC or display can use.
With a 1 to 5 V output, the signal rises from 1 V toward 5 V as pressure rises across the 2,000 psi range. Starting at 1 V rather than zero gives a live zero, so a reading of 0 V points to a wiring or power fault instead of zero pressure. That makes faults easier to find during setup and service.
A 2,000 psi range suits circuits whose normal working pressure sits comfortably below that figure, leaving headroom for pressure spikes. If your system regularly runs near 2,000 psi, consider a higher range.
The 1/8 in NPT thread fits compact ports on manifolds, valve blocks and test points. Seal the thread with a sealant suited to hydraulic service, and install the transducer in a port rated for system pressure.
