The Hyvair XDR1-1K-2MP is an X Series pressure transducer with a 1,000 psi pressure range and a 0.5 to 4.5 V output. It converts the pressure at its port into a voltage signal for a controller or monitoring input. Part number XDR1-1K-2MP is the 1/8-27 NPT thread version of the 1,000 psi model.
The process connection is a 1/8-27 NPT thread. NPT is a tapered pipe thread that seals as it is tightened into a matching female port. The 1/8 in size fits small ports on blocks, lines and test fittings.
The transducer runs on a 5 V supply, plus or minus 0.5 V, and draws under 5 mA. The output sits at 0.5 V at the low end of the range and rises toward 4.5 V as pressure approaches 1,000 psi. Keeping the signal off the 0 V and 5 V rails lets the receiving controller tell a true zero reading apart from a broken wire or a shorted circuit.
Response time is under 1 ms, so the voltage follows quick changes in system pressure.
