The Hyvair XDR2-1K-4MP is an X Series pressure transducer with a 1,000 psi range and a 1 to 5 V analog output. It threads into a 1/4-18 NPT port and converts line pressure into a voltage signal for a PLC, controller, data logger or display.
The output rises from 1 V toward 5 V as pressure rises across the range. Starting the signal at 1 V gives a live zero: if the reading drops to 0 V, the cause is a wiring or power fault, not a loss of pressure. Response time is under 1 ms, which lets the signal track quick pressure changes in an active circuit.
Supply voltage can be anywhere from 8 to 30 V, and supply current is under 5 mA. That covers the 12 V and 24 V supplies used on most machine controls, and the low draw adds little load to the power source.
The 1/4-18 NPT male connection is larger than the 1/8 NPT version and fits standard 1/4 NPT ports and gauge adapters. A 1,000 psi range gives good resolution for low pressure circuits, pilot pressure and test points. Seal the thread with a sealant suited to hydraulic service and keep working pressure well inside the range.
