The Hyvair XDR2-3.6K-4MP is an X Series pressure transducer with a 3,600 psi range, a 1 to 5 V analog output and a 1/4-18 NPT male connection. It reads hydraulic line pressure and sends a proportional voltage to a PLC, controller, data logger or display.
The output climbs from 1 V toward 5 V as pressure rises across the range. Starting the signal at 1 V gives a live zero, so a 0 V reading points to a broken wire or lost supply instead of an empty line. Response time is under 1 ms, which lets the signal follow fast pressure changes.
Supply voltage can be anything from 8 to 30 V, and supply current is below 5 mA. The unit can run from a 12 V or 24 V control supply with little added load.
The 1/4-18 NPT thread fits standard 1/4 NPT ports, tees and gauge adapters, which makes it a direct swap for a gauge at many test points. A 3,600 psi range suits circuits where normal working pressure sits well below that level, leaving headroom for spikes. Seal the thread with a sealant suited to hydraulic service, and install the transducer only in a port rated for system pressure.
