The Hyvair HMD-160-B2KSS is an orbital disc hydraulic motor in the HMD Series. An orbital motor produces low speed, high torque rotation from hydraulic flow, so it can turn many loads directly without a gear reducer.
Displacement is 160 cc/rev, listed as 9.81 in3/rev. The motor is rated for 19.8 gpm of flow and a maximum speed of 465 rpm. Maximum torque is 3991 in-lb continuous and 4947 in-lb intermittent. Maximum pressure is 2973 psi continuous and 3770 psi intermittent. Rated output is 24 hp.

The motor mounts on an SAE A 2-bolt flange with a 3.25 in pilot. The output shaft is a 1 in straight keyed shaft with a 1/4 in key. Ports are 7/8-14 UNF O-ring ports, which seal with an O-ring on the fitting rather than on the thread.
Each revolution of the shaft takes one displacement of oil, so at a given flow a larger displacement means lower speed and more torque. Check that flow to the motor stays within 19.8 gpm and that the relief setting holds normal working pressure within the 2973 psi continuous rating. Confirm that your mount fits the 2-bolt flange and 3.25 in pilot.
