The Zinga ZAF10251235 spin-on filter head, part number ZAF10251235, has 1 in NPTF ports, a 25 psi bypass and gauge ports at all locations. The head is the fixed half of a spin-on filter. It plumbs into the line, carries the inlet and outlet, and holds the replaceable element.
It accepts Zinga ZAE Series spin-on elements on a 1-12 UN thread, including the ZAE10, a Z-Glass element rated 10 micron absolute at Beta 200. ZAE elements are 3.8 in in diameter. When an element is spent, it unscrews from the head and a new one threads on, while the head and its fittings stay in place.
The 25 psi bypass opens when the pressure difference across the element reaches that setting. Flow then continues past a loaded or cold element instead of building restriction in the line. Fluid that passes an open bypass is not filtered, so change elements on schedule.
Gauge ports at all locations give you a place to fit a pressure gauge or indicator and watch element condition. Inlet, outlet and flow direction are cast into the head to make correct installation easy.
