The Hyvair CFE6-10MNPE is a compact CF Series spin-on filter element with 10 micron resin treated paper media. It threads onto a filter head and is replaced as one piece, which keeps maintenance simple on small power units and circuits with limited space around the filter.
The element is 3.05 in in diameter and 3.50 in in overall height. It mounts on a 3/4-16 UNF thread and is listed for a 3/8 in NPT port size. Check the thread and port size against your head before ordering, along with the clearance around the filter.
It carries a 60 psid maximum pressure rating. Psid stands for pounds per square inch differential, the drop in pressure across the media, and it climbs as the element loads with dirt. Operating temperature is rated from -15°F to +230°F.
Listed fluids include petroleum based fluids from ISO VG32 to VG68, phosphate ester, most vegetable oils and water based fluids with up to 40 percent water. A 10 micron rating with resin treated paper media gives finer particle capture than coarse grades in a small spin-on format.
