The Zinga SS15000 is an SS Series hydraulic suction strainer, 100 mesh standard media and a 32 gpm flow rating. A suction strainer protects the pump by stopping large debris on the inlet side before it can be drawn in.
The outlet port is 1-1/2 in NPTF. The strainer measures 3.2 in outside diameter and 9.3 in long, so check that length and diameter against the space available inside your reservoir or at the mounting point.
The 100 mesh screen has 100 openings per linear inch. That is a coarse grade suited to suction service, where low restriction matters because a restricted inlet can starve the pump.
Operating temperature is rated up to 250°F.
Match the 32 gpm rating to your pump’s flow, and inspect and clean the strainer at regular intervals so collected debris does not restrict the inlet. Clean the magnetic assembly at the same time.
