The Hyvair CFE20-10MNPE-1 is a CF Series spin-on filter element with 10 micron resin treated paper media. Like other spin-on elements, it threads onto a filter head and comes off as one unit at service time, which keeps changeouts quick and limits the chance of dirt getting into the housing.
This element is 5.08 in in diameter and 6.93 in in overall height. It mounts on a 1-1/2-16 UN thread and is listed for a 1-1/4 in NPT port size. Match both values to your filter head before ordering, along with the 6.93 in height if space around the filter is tight.
The element is rated to 60 psid maximum. A psid figure measures the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet sides of the media, which rises as the element collects contaminant. Operating temperature runs from -15°F to +230°F.
Fluid compatibility covers petroleum based fluids in the ISO VG32 to VG68 range, phosphate ester, most vegetable oils and water based fluids containing up to 40 percent water. With a 10 micron rating, the resin treated paper media captures finer particles than coarser grades, which makes it a fit for circuits that need cleaner oil.
