The Hyvair SD05-8FP-S is a side ported subplate in the SD05 Series, made of ductile cast iron. It provides a mounting surface for one D05 pattern directional valve and brings the valve’s P, T, A and B passages out to ports on the side of the plate.
Side porting lets lines run horizontally from the plate. That helps when the plate mounts on a wall, frame or panel with no access from behind.
The ports are 1/2 in female pipe thread. Pipe threads seal on the taper of the thread, so apply a thread sealant compatible with your hydraulic fluid when you install fittings.
The subplate is rated for a nominal flow of 12 gpm and a maximum pressure of 5000 psi.
Mounting the valve on a subplate means the lines stay connected to the plate while the valve bolts on top, so the valve can be serviced or swapped without breaking the plumbing. Confirm that the valve you plan to use has the D05 mounting pattern and that its own pressure and flow ratings fit your circuit. Keep system pressure at or below 5000 psi and circuit flow within the 12 gpm nominal rating.
