The Hyvair SD05H-12FS-C-S is a side ported, high flow subplate with a relief cavity, part of the SD05H Series and made of nickel plated steel. It provides a mounting surface for one D05 pattern directional valve, plus a machined cavity that accepts a relief valve cartridge.
A relief valve in the cavity limits pressure by opening to tank when pressure reaches its setting. Putting it in the subplate keeps pressure protection right at the valve instead of in a separate block.
The subplate is rated for a nominal flow of 25 gpm and a maximum pressure of 5000 psi. The ports are 3/4 in female SAE straight thread ports, which seal with an O-ring on the fitting. The nickel plating covers the steel body.
Side porting lets lines leave the plate horizontally, which suits wall, frame or panel mounting.
With a subplate, the piping stays connected while the valve bolts on top, so you can service the valve without opening the lines. Confirm that the relief cartridge you choose fits this cavity and that its setting stays at or below 5000 psi. Check that your D05 valve is rated for the flow you plan to run.
