The Hyvair SD03-6FS-S is an SD03 Series subplate made of ductile cast iron. It provides a mounting surface for one D03 pattern directional valve and routes the valve’s P, T, A and B passages to threaded ports.
The ports are 3/8 in female SAE straight thread ports. SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring on the fitting, so the seal does not depend on the thread itself. That makes it easier to reposition or remove fittings during service.
The subplate is rated for a nominal flow of 5 gpm and a maximum pressure of 5000 psi.
A subplate separates the valve from the piping. The lines connect to the plate, and the valve bolts on top, so you can service or replace the valve without breaking the plumbing. When you choose a valve for this plate, confirm that it uses the D03 mounting pattern and that its own pressure and flow ratings fit your circuit.
Keep system pressure, including the relief setting, at or below 5000 psi, and keep circuit flow within the 5 gpm nominal rating. Use fittings with a 3/8 in SAE straight thread and an O-ring, and check the O-ring material against your hydraulic fluid.
