The Hyvair MD05-8S-8AB-12PT is an eight station aluminum manifold in the MD05 Series. It mounts eight D05 pattern directional valves on one block.
The manifold uses a parallel circuit. The pressure and tank passages run through all eight stations, so each valve draws supply oil and returns to tank independently. Each station has its own A and B work ports that connect to the actuator it controls.
A and B work ports are #8 SAE (3/4-16) straight thread ports. The common P and T ports are #12 SAE (1-1/16-12). SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring fitting.
The manifold is rated for a nominal flow of 12 gpm and a maximum pressure of 3000 psi. The aluminum body measures 27.70 in long, so check that your mounting surface has room for the full length plus the valves.
With eight stations on shared passages, the 12 gpm nominal rating applies to the combined flow of valves that operate at the same time. Plan valve timing around that figure, and keep system pressure, including relief settings, at or below 3000 psi. Fit a blanking plate on any station that will not carry a valve.
