The Hyvair MD05-6S-8AB-12PT is a six station aluminum manifold in the MD05 Series. It carries six D05 pattern directional valves on one block, which lets six functions share one pressure supply and one return.
The manifold uses a parallel circuit. Pressure and tank passages run the length of the block and connect to all six stations, so each valve draws oil independently. Each station has its own A and B work ports leading to the actuator it controls.
A and B work ports are #8 SAE (3/4-16) straight thread ports. The common P and T ports are #12 SAE (1-1/16-12). SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring fitting.
The manifold is rated for a nominal flow of 12 gpm and a maximum pressure of 3000 psi. The aluminum body measures 21.10 in long, so allow for that length when you lay out the mounting surface.
Add up the flow of the valves that will operate at the same time and keep the total within the 12 gpm nominal rating of the shared passages. Keep system pressure at or below 3000 psi. Every station needs a valve or a blanking plate.
