The Hyvair MD05-5S-8AB-12PT is a five station aluminum manifold in the MD05 Series. It mounts five D05 pattern directional valves on one block, so five functions can run from a single pressure supply and a single return line.
The manifold uses a parallel circuit. Pressure and tank passages run through all five stations, and each valve draws from them independently. Every station has its own A and B work ports that lead to the actuator that valve controls.
A and B work ports are #8 SAE (3/4-16) straight thread ports. The common P and T ports are #12 SAE (1-1/16-12). SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring fitting.
The manifold is rated for a nominal flow of 12 gpm and a maximum pressure of 3000 psi. The aluminum body measures 17.95 in long.
With five valves on shared passages, add up the flow of any valves that will shift at the same time and keep the total within the 12 gpm nominal rating. Keep system pressure, including relief settings, at or below 3000 psi. Each station needs either a D05 valve or a blanking plate before startup.
