The Hyvair MD05-4S-8AB-12PT is a four station aluminum manifold in the MD05 Series. It mounts four D05 pattern directional valves on one block, giving four circuit functions a common supply and return.
The manifold uses a parallel circuit. The pressure passage and the tank passage run through all four stations, so each valve draws oil and returns it independently. Each station has its own A and B work ports that connect to the actuator it controls.
A and B work ports are #8 SAE (3/4-16) straight thread ports. The P and T ports are #12 SAE (1-1/16-12). SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring fitting, not on the threads.
The manifold is rated for a nominal flow of 12 gpm and a maximum pressure of 3000 psi. The aluminum body measures 14.70 in long, so plan mounting space for that length plus the valves on top.
When you size the bank, keep the combined flow of valves that operate at the same time within the 12 gpm nominal rating of the shared passages. System pressure, including relief settings, should stay at or below 3000 psi. A station without a valve needs a blanking plate.
