The Hyvair MD03-6S-8AB-12PT-S is a six station steel manifold in the MD03 Series. It gives you mounting pads for six D03 pattern directional valves on one block, so a bank of valves can be built without plumbing each valve separately.
The manifold uses a parallel circuit. The pressure and tank passages run the full length of the block and connect to every station at the same time, so each valve draws supply oil and returns to tank on its own. Each station has its own A and B work ports, which lead to the actuator that valve controls.
A and B work ports are #8 SAE (3/4-16) straight thread ports. The common P and T ports are #12 SAE (1-1/16-12). SAE straight thread ports seal with an O-ring fitting rather than a tapered thread.
The block is rated for a nominal flow of 5 gpm and a maximum pressure of 5000 psi. It is made of steel and measures 14.79 in long.
When you size the bank, check that the combined flow you plan to run through the shared P and T passages stays within the 5 gpm nominal rating, and that system pressure, including relief settings, stays at or below 5000 psi. Each of the six stations needs a D03 valve or a blanking plate before the manifold is pressurized.
