The Zinga AE100 is a durable spin-on hydraulic filter element from the Zinga AE Series, engineered to provide reliable coarse filtration and reusable performance for hydraulic systems operating in industrial, mobile, agricultural, manufacturing, and OEM applications. Designed for use with Zinga ZAF Series filter heads, the AE100 is ideally suited for applications requiring low-restriction fluid flow while providing dependable protection against large particulate contaminants. Featuring a 141-micron stainless steel mesh filtration media, the AE100 provides basic surface-type filtration that captures larger contaminant particles while maintaining an exceptionally low pressure drop across the filter element. This allows hydraulic fluid to flow freely with minimal restriction, making the element particularly well suited for pump suction circuits, pump inlet protection, and “last chance” valve protection where unrestricted flow is critical to system performance. By preventing larger debris from entering sensitive hydraulic components, the AE100 helps reduce premature wear and contributes to improved system reliability.
Unlike disposable cellulose filter elements, the AE100 utilizes a rugged woven stainless steel mesh that can be cleaned and reused multiple times through ultrasonic cleaning. This reusable construction helps reduce replacement costs, minimize maintenance waste, and extend the overall service life of the filter element. The durable stainless steel media maintains its structural integrity under demanding operating conditions, providing consistent filtration performance over repeated cleaning cycles.
The filter element measures 3.8 inches in outside diameter and 5.8 inches in overall height and features a standard 1″-12 UN mounting thread for secure installation into compatible ZAF Series filter heads. With 91 square inches of stainless steel filter media, the element provides effective coarse contaminant retention while preserving excellent flow characteristics. A durable Buna-N gasket ensures a reliable, leak-resistant seal, and the element is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI for dependable operation in a wide range of hydraulic filtration applications.
