The Zinga ZLE25 is a ZLE Series spin-on filter element with 25 micron Z-Glass media. Z-Glass is a glass fiber media. Like other spin-on elements, it threads onto a filter head and is replaced as a single unit. Glass fiber media traps particles through the depth of the material rather than only at its surface.
The element is 5.1 in in diameter and 10.9 in in overall height, with a 1-1/2-16 UN mounting thread. Check the thread against your filter head and the height against the space around it. Because 80 psid is the pressure drop the element is built to handle, pair it with a filter head whose bypass setting opens below that figure.
Ratings are 200 psi maximum operating pressure and 80 psid maximum differential pressure. Differential pressure is the drop across the media, and it climbs as the element collects dirt. Operating temperature is rated up to +250°F.
A 25 micron rating is a coarser grade aimed at larger particles. It loads more slowly than fine grades and suits circuits where general contamination control is enough.
The specifications list petroleum based fluids. Change the element when the pressure drop rises or at the interval set for your equipment.
