The Zinga ZLE-03 is a ZLE Series spin-on filter element with 3 micron Z-Glass media. Z-Glass is a glass fiber media, and the 3 micron grade is intended for circuits that need very clean fluid.
The element measures 5.1 in in diameter and 10.9 in in overall height, and it mounts on a 1-1/2-16 UN thread. A spin-on element threads onto the filter head and is replaced as one unit. Glass fiber media traps particles through the depth of the material rather than only at its surface.
It is rated for 200 psi maximum operating pressure and 80 psid maximum differential pressure. The differential rating covers the pressure drop across the media, which rises as it loads. Operating temperature is rated up to +250°F.
Fine media captures small particles that coarser grades let through, and it fills faster in the same body. Monitor the pressure drop and change the element when it climbs. Because 80 psid is the pressure drop the element is built to handle, pair it with a filter head whose bypass setting opens below that figure.
