The Hyvair PCP8-3K-2AS-RC is an industrial piston pump in the PCP8 Series with a remote compensator. It is rated for 7.8 gpm at a maximum speed of 1800 rpm, with a pressure range of 500 to 3000 psi and a maximum pressure of 3000 psi. This is part number PCP8-3K-2AS-RC.
The remote compensator lets you adjust the pump’s pressure setting from a point away from the pump. The setting can be changed without reaching the pump itself.
The pump mounts on a 2 bolt SAE A flange and is driven through a 9 tooth, 16/32 DP splined shaft. The spline slides into a matching internal spline coupling, so confirm the profile of your coupling or drive adapter before installation.
A piston pump turns shaft rotation into hydraulic flow. As the shaft turns, the pistons draw oil in from the inlet side and push it out to the outlet side, delivering the rated flow at full speed.
