The Hyvair A10VSO45DFR/31R-PSC62-K68 is a variable displacement axial piston pump from the A10V45 Series, built with a volume stop and an SAE B through drive. It is rated for 21.4 gpm, with a maximum speed of 2,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm (1,770 in-lbs).
The pump uses a swashplate design: pistons in a rotating cylinder block stroke against an angled plate, and the plate angle sets displacement. The volume stop limits that angle so maximum flow can be capped below full displacement when the circuit needs less.
It mounts on a 2-bolt SAE BB flange and drives through a 15 tooth, 16/32 DP splined shaft. Ports are on the side: a 1-1/2 in SAE Code 61 flange inlet, a 1 in SAE Code 61 flange outlet and a #6 female case drain.
The through drive on this model is a 2-bolt SAE B pattern with a 13 tooth, 16/32 DP spline. It passes shaft power out the back of the pump, so a second pump with a matching SAE B mount and spline can stack behind it. The larger SAE B pattern accepts a bigger rear pump than an SAE A through drive.
