The Hyvair PCP8-3K-2AK-2-RC is a PCP8 Series industrial piston pump with a remote compensator. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 3,000 psi, a pressure range of 500 to 3,000 psi, a maximum speed of 1,800 rpm, and a flow of 7.8 gpm.
The remote compensator is the pump’s control. A pressure compensated pump reduces its output flow as system pressure reaches the compensator setting, so it delivers only the flow the circuit needs at that pressure. With a remote compensator, the pressure setting can be adjusted from a separate pilot valve instead of only at the pump. The adjustable pressure range on this model is 500 to 3,000 psi.
Mounting is a 2 bolt SAE A flange with a 3/4 in diameter keyed shaft, 1.67 in long, with a 3/16 in key. The pump also includes flow adjustment.
Porting is by SAE flange connections. The inlet is a 1 in SAE Code 61 flange, and the outlet is a 3/4 in SAE Code 61 flange. The case drain is a #6 female SAE port.
Run the case drain line directly to tank, and size the inlet line to suit the 1 in inlet flange. Confirm the shaft, flange and drive speed against your motor and coupling before ordering.
