The Hyvair PCP33-RC is a remote compensator control for PCP33 Series pressure compensated piston pumps. It lets you adjust system pressure remotely through an external pilot control, so the pressure setting no longer has to be made at the pump itself.
A pressure compensated piston pump reduces its displacement as system pressure reaches the compensator setting. It holds that pressure while delivering only the flow the circuit uses. A remote compensator connects the compensator to a pilot line, and a pressure control placed elsewhere on the machine then sets or changes the working pressure.
Moving the adjustment away from the pump simplifies setup and gives operators and technicians easier access. They can fine-tune system pressure without reaching the pump-mounted compensator. It also gives designers more freedom when they integrate hydraulic controls into a complex machine layout.
The PCP33-RC is listed with the 33 GPM pumps in the Hyvair industrial piston pump line. Use it as a replacement part on an existing PCP33 pump or specify it for a new hydraulic system.
