External Gear Pump – .9GPM – 4000 PSI – 4000 RPM – G.9-2AAK-3

The Hyvair G.9-2AAK-3 is a G Series external gear pump with a rated flow of 0.9 gpm. Maximum pressure is 4,000 psi and maximum speed is 4,000 rpm. Two meshing gears move oil around the housing from inlet to outlet, so the pump delivers the same volume with every revolution.

It mounts with an SAE AA, 2 bolt flange. The drive shaft is 1/2 in diameter and keyed, with a .125 in wide square key. SAE AA is smaller than the SAE A pattern, so check your motor adapter or bell housing.

The ports are SAE straight thread. The inlet is #8 (3/4-16 thread) and the outlet is #6 (9/16-18 thread). Run a suction line sized to the full inlet to keep the pump supplied.

Output depends on drive speed. Below the 4,000 rpm maximum, flow falls in proportion. Protect the pump with a relief valve set no higher than 4,000 psi.
