The Hyvair G.6-2AAK-3 is a small external gear pump from the G Series, rated for 0.6 gpm. It has a maximum pressure of 4,000 psi and a maximum speed of 4,000 rpm. Inside, two meshing gears carry oil from the inlet to the outlet, giving a fixed displacement per revolution.
The pump uses an SAE AA, 2 bolt mount. Its 1/2 in diameter keyed shaft takes a .125 in wide square key. SAE AA is a smaller mount than SAE A, so confirm your motor or adapter matches before ordering.
Ports are SAE straight thread. The inlet is a #8 port with a 3/4-16 thread, and the outlet is a #6 port with a 9/16-18 thread.
Because displacement is fixed, flow drops in proportion when the pump runs below its 4,000 rpm maximum. Set relief pressure at or below 4,000 psi to stay inside the rating.
The G.6-2AAK-3 is the smallest pump in the SAE AA 2 in, 0.5 to 2 gpm gear pump category. It suits low flow, high pressure circuits where a compact mount and small diameter hoses make sense.
