External Gear Pump – 6.7 GPM – 4000 PSI – 3200 RPM – G6.7-2AK-3

The Hyvair G6.7-2AK-3 is an external gear pump from the G Series with a rated flow of 6.7 gpm. It is rated for 4,000 psi maximum pressure and a maximum speed of 3,200 rpm. Two meshing gears carry oil from the inlet to the outlet around the inside of the housing, giving fixed displacement per revolution.

Note the speed limit. This size tops out at 3,200 rpm, lower than the smaller pumps in the same group, so confirm your drive speed before you order.

Ports are SAE straight thread. The inlet is a #12 port with a 1 1/16-12 thread and the outlet is a #10 port with a 7/8-14 thread. Size the suction hose to the full inlet so the pump fills cleanly at speed.

Flow rises and falls with shaft speed. Running below 3,200 rpm gives proportionally less than the rated flow. Keep relief valve settings at or below 4,000 psi to stay within the pump rating.
