The Hyvair G5.5-2AK-3 is a G Series external gear pump with a 5.5 gpm flow rating. It handles up to 4,000 psi maximum pressure and runs at up to 4,000 rpm. Like all gear pumps, it has fixed displacement: each shaft revolution moves the same volume of oil.

The mounting style is SAE A, 2 bolt. A 5/8 in diameter keyed shaft with a 5/32 in wide square key drives the pump. Match your coupling to this shaft before installation.

Both ports are SAE straight thread. The suction side is a #12 inlet, 1 1/16-12 thread, and the pressure side is a #10 outlet, 7/8-14 thread. Keep the suction line short and full size to give the gears a steady supply of oil.

Since output depends on speed, running below 4,000 rpm reduces flow proportionally. Protect the pump with a relief valve set no higher than its 4,000 psi maximum.
