The Hyvair A10VSO71DFR/31R-PSC62-N00 is an A10V71 Series mobile hydraulic axial piston pump. It is rated for a maximum speed of 2,200 rpm and a flow of 33.8 gpm, and it mounts with a 2-bolt SAE C flange and a 14 tooth splined drive shaft.
The pump uses a variable displacement swashplate design, and the specifications list it with a volume stop. Tilting the swashplate changes the stroke of the pistons and with it the output flow. A volume stop limits maximum displacement, so the pump’s top flow can be set below full output.
The drive shaft is a 14 tooth spline with a 12/24 diametral pitch. Maximum torque is 316 Nm (2,797 in-lbs). A splined shaft connects to a matching splined coupling or drive, so confirm the tooth count and pitch before ordering.
Porting is on the side of the pump. The inlet is a 2 in SAE Code 61 flange and the outlet is a 1-1/4 in SAE Code 61 flange. The case drain is a #6 female SAE port.
Plumb the case drain to tank with as little restriction as possible, and size the suction line for the 2 in inlet. Keep drive speed at or below the 2,200 rpm maximum.
