The Hyvair PCV5-1K-2AK-1 is a variable volume, pressure compensated vane pump in the PCV5 Series. It is rated for 5 gpm of flow and a maximum working pressure of 1,000 psi. As system pressure climbs to the compensator setting, the pump reduces its displacement and delivers only the flow needed to hold that pressure.
You can set the compensator anywhere in its 400 to 1,000 psi pressure range. Flow adjustment is standard on this model, which lets you limit maximum output below 5 gpm when the circuit calls for less flow.
Mounting is SAE A, 2 bolt. The drive shaft is a 1/2 in diameter keyed shaft, 1.42 in long, with a 1/8 in key. Confirm your motor coupling or bell housing matches these dimensions before installation.
Every port is female NPT: a 1/2 in inlet, a 3/8 in outlet and a 1/4 in case port. The case port carries internal leakage and should run back to the reservoir on its own line.
The PCV5-1K-2AK-1 fits circuits that need 5 gpm at pressures up to 1,000 psi, with an SAE A, 2 bolt mount and simple NPT plumbing.
