The Hyvair PCV3-1K-2AK-1 is a variable volume, pressure compensated vane pump from the PCV3 Series. It delivers 3 gpm and carries a maximum working pressure of 1,000 psi. A pressure compensated pump cuts back its displacement as system pressure reaches the compensator setting, so it supplies only the flow the circuit needs to hold that pressure.
The compensator adjusts across a 400 to 1,000 psi pressure range. Set it to the working pressure your circuit calls for, and the pump holds that level without dumping full flow over a relief valve. Flow adjustment comes standard, so you can trim maximum output below the full 3 gpm when a circuit needs less.
The pump mounts with an SAE A, 2 bolt flange. Its 1/2 in diameter keyed shaft is 1.42 in long and uses a 1/8 in key, so check that your coupling matches before you order.
All ports are female NPT. The inlet is 1/2 in, the outlet is 3/8 in and the case port is 1/4 in. Vane pumps of this type need the case port piped back to the reservoir so internal leakage can drain freely.
