The Zinga ZRE40910R is a tank mount filter element with 10 micron Z-Glass media and inside to outside flow. The specifications list it in the RE Series. Z-Glass is a glass fiber media used for particle filtration in hydraulic systems.
The element measures 3.91 in outside diameter, 1.96 in inside diameter and 9.19 in long. Confirm all three against your housing when ordering a replacement.
The absolute rating is β10µ(c) = 200. A beta ratio compares particle counts upstream and downstream of the media at a given size, and a ratio of 200 means about 99.5 percent of particles at that size are captured.
Inside to outside flow means fluid enters through the center core and passes out through the outer surface of the element. That is the reverse of an outside to inside element, so the housing has to route flow the same way. Check flow direction along with dimensions before you install it.
The 10 micron grade offers fine particle control without loading as quickly as a 3 micron grade. Replace the element when the pressure drop across it rises or at the interval set for your equipment.
