The Zinga ZRE40910 is a tank mount filter element with 10 micron Z-Glass media and outside to inside flow. Its specifications list it in the RE Series. Z-Glass is a glass fiber media used for particle filtration in hydraulic fluid.
The element is 3.91 in outside diameter, 1.96 in inside diameter and 9.19 in long. Check these dimensions against your tank mount housing.
The absolute rating is β10µ(c) = 200. A beta ratio compares the particle count upstream of the media with the count downstream at a given size. A ratio of 200 at 10 microns means the media captures about 99.5 percent of particles at that size.
With outside to inside flow, fluid enters at the outer surface and leaves through the center core. The housing must route flow the same way.
The 10 micron grade gives fine particle control while loading more slowly than a 3 micron grade. A tank mount element sits inside a housing on the reservoir, so replacement is a matter of opening the housing and swapping the element. Change it when the pressure drop rises or at your set service interval.
