The Zinga SLF216S0N is an SLF2 Series return line tank top filter with an integral tank breather. It is rated for 40 gpm and 100 psi maximum operating pressure. The filter mounts on top of the reservoir and cleans fluid as it returns from the circuit to the tank.
Ports are SAE-16. The housing carries a 300 psi burst rating. That is a structural limit, not a working pressure, so size the filter on the 100 psi operating rating.
The tank breather is built into the filter. A breather lets air move in and out of the reservoir as the fluid level changes, and having it integral to the filter removes the need for a separate breather on the tank.
Operating temperature is rated from -15°F to +230°F, and the specifications list petroleum based fluids.
Because a return line filter carries the full return flow of the circuit, compare the 40 gpm rating with your system’s return flow before ordering. Check element condition at regular intervals, since a loaded element raises back pressure on the return line.
