The Zinga ZSE10 is a ZSE Series spin-on filter element with 10 micron Z-Glass media. Z-Glass is a glass fiber media, and a spin-on element like this one threads onto a filter head and is replaced as one sealed unit. Glass fiber media traps particles through the depth of the material rather than only at its surface.
The element measures 5.1 in in diameter and 6.9 in in overall height, and it mounts on a 1-1/2-16 UN thread. Check the thread against your filter head before ordering. Because 80 psid is the pressure drop the element is built to handle, pair it with a filter head whose bypass setting opens below that figure.
Ratings are 200 psi maximum operating pressure and 80 psid maximum differential pressure. The differential figure is the pressure drop across the media, which climbs as the element loads with contaminant. Operating temperature is rated up to +250°F.
A 10 micron rating gives fine particle control for general hydraulic service. It loads more slowly than a 3 micron grade while still capturing particles that coarser media let through.
The specifications list petroleum based fluids. Replace the element when the pressure drop rises or at the service interval set for your equipment.
