The Zinga ZSLE203 is a ZSLE2 Series tank mount filter element with 3 micron Z-Glass media. Z-Glass is a glass fiber media, and the 3 micron grade is intended for circuits that need fine particle control.
The element measures 2.5 in outside diameter and 11.7 in long. Glass fiber media traps particles through the depth of the material rather than only at its surface. Confirm both dimensions against your tank mount housing before ordering.
A tank mount element fits inside a filter housing on the reservoir. Fluid passes through the media, which holds the particles while the cleaned fluid moves on. Because the housing stays in place, service is a matter of opening it and swapping the element.
Fine media captures smaller particles than coarse grades, and it also fills faster in the same size of element. Monitor the pressure drop across the element and replace it when the drop rises, or at the service interval set for your equipment.
Check the micron rating on the part number when reordering, so the replacement matches the filtration grade your circuit was set up for.
