The Zinga TF122000 is a TF Series hydraulic suction strainer rated for 23 gpm with 100 mesh standard media. A suction strainer sits on the pump inlet side of the circuit and stops large debris before it can be drawn into the pump.
The strainer threads in on a 2 in NPT male thread and has a 1-1/4 in NPTF outlet port. The hex size is 2.1 in, which is the wrench size for installation and removal.
Overall length is 9.1 in, the fitting length is 1.2 in, and the cover diameter is 2.2 in. Check those dimensions against the space available at the mounting point before ordering.
The media is 100 mesh, meaning the screen has 100 openings per linear inch. That is a coarse grade suited to suction service, where the goal is to stop larger particles while keeping restriction low so the pump can fill. Too much restriction on a suction line can starve the pump, so match the 23 gpm flow rating to your pump.
Operating temperature is rated up to 250°F. Inspect and clean the strainer on a regular schedule so debris buildup does not restrict the pump inlet.
