The Zinga SLF216S0 is an SLF2 Series return line tank top filter with an integral tank breather. It is rated for 40 gpm and 100 psi maximum operating pressure. A return line filter cleans fluid as it comes back from the circuit to the reservoir, and tank top mounting places the housing on the reservoir itself.
Ports are SAE-16. The burst rating is 300 psi, which is a structural limit for the housing and not a working pressure. Size the filter on the 100 psi operating figure.
The integral tank breather handles air exchange for the reservoir. As fluid level rises and falls during operation, the breather lets air move in and out of the tank. Building it into the filter saves a separate breather fitting on the reservoir.
The operating temperature range is -15°F to +230°F, and the specifications list petroleum based fluids.
Return line filters see the full return flow of the circuit, so check the 40 gpm rating against your system’s return flow before ordering. Check element condition at regular intervals, since a loaded element raises back pressure on the return line.
